POPLA Appeal Help

If your initial appeal has been rejected by a BPA parking operator, you may be able to escalate your case to POPLA. Send us the details of your case, the operator's rejection and your supporting evidence so we can review your options.

POPLA appeals are time-sensitive. Please provide the deadline shown in your rejection correspondence.

1. Your details
2. Parking charge details

Optional if you don't know it.

3. Your original appeal

This is normally a 10-digit verification code provided in the parking operator's rejection letter or email.

Enter the deadline shown in your rejection correspondence.

4. Upload your documents

Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, DOC and DOCX. Up to 10MB per file.

Upload the original Parking Charge Notice, Notice to Keeper or other initial parking charge correspondence.

Upload a copy, screenshot or document showing the appeal you originally submitted to the parking operator.

Upload the rejection correspondence received from the parking operator. This should contain your POPLA verification code and the operator's reasons for rejecting your appeal.

Upload any relevant photographs of the parking location, signs, entrance signs, payment machines, vehicle position or other relevant evidence.

Upload any other evidence that may be relevant to your case — for example receipts, booking confirmations, payment evidence, appointment evidence, correspondence with the landowner, previous emails or other supporting documents.

5. Tell us what happened

Briefly explain why you received the parking charge, what you said in your original appeal, and anything you believe the parking operator has failed to consider.

Your information is secure and will only be used to review your case and communicate with you.

What happens next?

Once we receive your submission and supporting documents, a ParkingHero expert will review the information provided. If we are able to assist with your case, we will contact you with any additional questions and explain the next steps.

Submitting your case does not guarantee that ParkingHero will be able to take it on.
